Junior Golf

Chapman Golf Club has long been known as the home of junior golf in Zimbabwe.

Apart from being the home of the Nick Price Golf Academy and being the venue where St Johns College, Eaglesvale, Dominican Convent, Peterhouse and other schools play their schools’ golf, Zimbabwe Junior Golf hold their meetings at the club and every school holiday a clinic is held for juniors aged nine- 16 years by the Chapman Professional Staff. The attendance at the clinics varies from 30 – 80 players.

The Club’s junior section is extremely strong and of all the scratch team events played in the country over the last 10 years, Chapman has won 80%.

Every Sunday morning there is a clinic held from 9.00 a.m.- 10.30a.m.  where youngsters have coaching from one or more of the resident professionals. The cost of coaching and range balls is $5 for the morning.
